Materials

For every artist, at every step of the path.

A first set of brushes, a student filling a supply list, a potter restocking tools, someone who has been painting for forty years and knows exactly which series number. We stock for all of them.

On the shelves

Paint, paper, brushes, clay, thread.

Every category here earns its place the same way: it has to make the experience of creating better. Across media, and across every level of the work.

Brushes & applicators
Paint & color
Dry media & pastels
Paper, pads & surfaces
Studio & pottery tools
Fiber, thread & notions
Beading & jewelry
Modeling & kits

Looking for something that isn’t here? Ask. Most of what we stock started as somebody telling us what they couldn’t find.

In detail

What that means in practice.

Paint & color

Acrylics, watercolors in pans and tubes, gouache, tempera, inks and liquid color. Student grade through artist grade, because the right answer depends on who’s holding the brush.

Brushes & applicators

Natural and synthetic, rounds, flats, filberts and riggers, sets and singles, palette knives, sponges and blending tools.

Dry media

Colored pencils, graphite, charcoal, soft and oil pastels, markers, and the erasers, blenders and fixatives that go with them.

Paper & surfaces

Sketch and watercolor pads, bristol, pastel and printmaking papers, toned sketchbooks, canvas boards, journals and mounting board.

Studio & pottery tools

Hand tools, carving and sculpting sets, ribs and loop tools, cutters, rulers, light tables, palettes and storage.

Fiber, beading & modeling

Thread, bobbins, needles, pins and clips, rotary blades, rulers and templates, cord and findings, metal and polymer clay, model kits and decals.

Every level

A first set and a studio restock are both good orders.

Beginners buy differently from professionals, and both matter. We carry student grade and artist grade alike, and we’ll tell you which one you actually need if you ask.

We buy everything we sell. There’s a supplier invoice behind every unit.
